Man, I really liked Internet Historian's videos. I had always thought his style of presentation was funny and well-edited, even if the videos were meandering and meme-y. The article says "scream" not "yell" which, at least to me, does not imply yelling for help and eventually going to sleep, but screaming in agony until you pass out, eventually waking up, feeling that surge of pain again, and screaming until he passes out again. In the redo he could have looked at this section again and rewrote it from that screaming perspective and made something different but still chilling, and instead because he uses *yell* and not *scream* and has him yelling coherently for help, it just comes off as... "oh, well, here I am. Fuck me I guess." Instead of actual genuine terror.

I’ve watched this video before, but it’s been a minute so I didn’t remember all the specifics and needed something to listen to while I draw, and when I draw I usually turn my head to see stuff on the screen, like if I see white text pop up on the bottom of the screen I go to read it or if a piece of is mentioned it’s usually on screen so I look to see it ya know? And I just got to part II and saw the color change to red, looked over and GOT KINDA CALLED OUT I HAD TO STOP AND LAUGH FOR LIKE TWO MINUTES 🤣 great timing for me lol and great work man, I love your vids and you do great work on the script and visuals nit to mention you have a really soothing voice that makes the vids even better!
